A doctor also does a quick medical check for knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins, vision issues, and other physical problems.

Final Thoughts

The Assam Police Constable Syllabus is your most important preparation tool for this recruitment. With 2,972 vacancies up for grabs, the competition is real, but with a clear understanding of what the exam covers and how the selection process works, you give yourself a genuine advantage over candidates who prepare without direction.

To sum it up, the written exam has 100 MCQs for 50 marks with no negative marking; the difficulty level is Class 9 and 10 standard, and the paper covers five subject areas. The PET carries 40 marks for regular constable posts and involves a race and long jump with detailed mark breakdowns. The PST (Physical Standard Test), medical examination, document verification, and viva voce (oral interview) round out the remaining stages.

Start with the Assam-specific section since it is unique to this exam and takes more targeted preparation. Then build your arithmetic and reasoning skills through daily practice. Keep your physical preparation running alongside your written exam studies from day one; do not leave either stage for the last minute.

Why is the Assam Police Constable Syllabus important for candidates?

Knowing the Assam Police Constable Syllabus is the most important part in building an effective preparation plan. The syllabus tells you exactly which topics will appear in the exam and which ones you can skip entirely, and this saves you a significant amount of time and effort.
