- The age limit for applying to the recruitment is 18 to 27 years.
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates.
- The upper age limit is relaxable for departmental candidates. This applies to those up to 40 years of age. Candidates must have rendered 3 years of regular and continuous service.
