        • Basic Science & Engineering
        • General Awareness on Current Affairs
      2. Part B: (Duration: 60 minutes, Questions: 75)
        • Relevant Trade Subject (as per the discipline chosen by the candidate)
    • Candidates must qualify in both Part A and Part B to proceed further.
  3. Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (Only for ALP)
    • This stage is applicable only for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) candidates.
    • It tests cognitive abilities, memory, perception, and reasoning skills.
    • Qualifying nature: Minimum 42 marks in each test battery are required.
    • No negative marking.
  4. Document Verification & Medical Examination
    • Candidates who clear all previous stages are called for document verification.
    • A medical fitness test is conducted to ensure the candidate meets the physical and medical standards set by Indian Railways.
