SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) Eligibility Criteria

Meeting the eligibility criteria is a key requirement for the SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) recruitment process. Applications from candidates who fail to fulfill the eligibility conditions will be rejected. Below are details on the age limitation and qualifications for SBI Clerk 2024:

Educational Qualification

  • It is required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university 
  • Candidates who hold integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates are required to make sure that their IDD passing date falls on or before December 31, 2024.
  • Candidates in the final year of their graduation are eligible to apply provisionally, provided they can submit proof of passing the graduation exam by 31st December 2024 if selected.

SBI Clerk 2024 Age Limit

Candidates must meet the age eligibility requirements by being between the ages of 20 and 28 on January 4, 2024. According to government laws, designated categories are granted relaxations in the higher age limit. The details are summarized below:

Nationality Requirements
To be eligible for the SBI Clerk exam, candidates must meet one of the following nationality conditions:

  1. Indian Citizenship
  2. A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
  3. A Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, and made India their permanent home
  4. A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from countries such as Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African nations (including Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, and Malawi) to permanently settle in India.

Candidates in categories 2, 3, and 4 must have an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2024 Selection Process

To become a Junior Associate in the Clerical Cadre, candidates need to clear two exam phases: the SBI Clerk Prelims and the Mains Exam. To get selected and receive the appointment letter from SBI, both stages must be completed.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2024
