SBI PO Selection Process 2026

The SBI PO recruitment is considered one of the most challenging among banking exams. It consists of three stages:

SBI PO 2026 Salary Structure

As per the SBI PO 2026 notification, the starting basic pay for a Probationary Officer (PO) is ₹48,480/- (with 4 advance increments) under the Junior Management Grade Scale-I, which follows the pay scale:

48,480 – 2000/7 – 62,480 – 2340/2 – 67,160 – 2680/7 – 85,920

In addition to the basic pay, officers are entitled to:

  • House Rent Allowance (H.R.A) / Lease rental
