Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

1. Assam Police Constable 2025: Nationality

The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and a citizen of India.

5. Physical Efficiency Test

The details are given below:

a. Male Candidates

  • Race: PST qualifiers will compete in a 3.2 km race that must be finished in under 14 minutes (840 seconds).
  • Long Jump: 335 cm is the minimum required height. (There will be three chances, and the longest legal jump—rounded up to the nearest cm—will be taken into account when determining the grade.)

b. Female Candidates

  • Race: Those who pass the PST will have to run 1600 meters in 8than eight minutes.
  • Long Jump: Minimum height of 244 cm(There will be 3 chances, and the mark will be based on the longest valid jump, rounded to the nearest cm.)

6. Medical Standards / Medical Examination

a. General

  • Candidates must not have crossed eyes.
  • Candidates should have good color vision.
  • Varicose veins will temporarily disqualify candidates from competition.
  • Candidates must possess a healthy mind and body.
  • No physical flaws or diseases are allowed, including:
    • Diabetes
    • Hernia
    • Piles
    • Respiratory diseases
  • Any other conditions that could hinder job performance.

b. Eyesight

At least one eye should have distance vision of 6/6, and the other should not be worse than 6/9 without glasses or contacts. Your close vision should be fine.
