The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a total of 3,073 vacancies. These vacancies are for Sub-Inspector (Executive) positions, available to both male and female candidates, in the Delhi Police. SSC CPO Recruitment 2025

The SSC conducts the SSC CPO Exam. This exam is for recruiting candidates for the position of Sub Inspector in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The SSC CPO 2025 exam will be conducted in four stages. 

• Paper I
• Physical Standard Test (PST) or Physical Endurance Test (PET)
• Paper II
• Detailed Medical Examination (DME). 

Candidates who qualify at each stage will be shortlisted for the position of Sub Inspector (Executive) in the Delhi Police. They will also be considered for the position of Sub Inspector (General Duty) in other CAPFs.

SSC CPO 2025: Online Application

The SSC CPO 2025 online application has started. Candidates can find it on the official website, https://ssc.gov.in/. The official notification was released on September 26, 2025. 3. Applicable to:

• Male candidates belonging to the General category

SC CPO 2025: Eligibility

To apply for SSC CPO Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet certain eligibility requirements. There are three criteria that a candidate needs to fulfill. Meeting these criteria is important to be eligible for the SSC CPO 2025 Exam.

Below is the detailed eligibility criteria:

1. SSC CPO SI Nationality/ Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

• a citizen of India, or
• a subject of Nepal, or
• a subject of Bhutan, or

A candidate belonging to categories 2 and 3 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. A candidate who requires a certificate of eligibility will be admitted to the examination. However, the offer of appointment will only be provided after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to the candidate by the Government of India.

2. SSC CPO SI Educational Qualification

• For the post of Sub Inspector (GD) in Delhi Police & CAPFs: A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.
• For the post of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (Males only): Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

3. SSC CPO SI Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)

The age limit for candidates is between 20 and 25 years. Candidates must have been born on or after 02.08.2000. They must also be born no later than August 1, 2005, to be eligible to apply.

• Minimum Age Limit: 20 years
• Maximum Age Limit: 25 years

SSC CPO 2025: Selection Process

The SSC CPO 2025 selection process has four stages. 

• Candidates will first take Paper 1, which is a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
• After completing Paper 1, they must pass the Physical Standard Test (PST).  Moreover, candidates must also pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
• The next stage is Paper 2, another Computer-Based Test focused on English Comprehension.
• Finally, candidates who clear all previous stages will undergo a Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

Each stage must be cleared to move to the next one.

SSC CPO 2025: Exam Pattern

1. Questions in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of SSC CPO 2025 are of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
2. Paper 1 questions will be bilingual (available in both Hindi and English).
3. Questions in Paper 2 will be only in English.
4. A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer in both papers.
5. The total time duration for the exam is 2 hours.
6. There is a sectional timer of 30 minutes for each part.

SSC CPO 2025 Syllabus

• The SSC CPO 2025 Paper-1 will consist of four main sections:
  • Reasoning
  • General Studies (GS)
  • English
  • Mathematics
• Each section will carry equal weightage in the exam.
• Paper 2 will focus on testing candidates’ English comprehension.
• The main emphasis of Paper 2 will be on assessing the ability to understand the English language.

SSC CPO 2025: Salary

The salary and pay scale for SSC CPO Sub-Inspector in the Delhi Police and CAPF have been outlined. This pay scale is determined according to the 7th Pay Commission. Candidates who are selected will receive a salary that adheres to government norms.

SSC CPO 2025: Admit Card

SSC will release the Admit Card for SSC CPO Paper I and Paper II separately. Candidates who register for SSC CPO 2025 will be able to download the Admit Card for both papers well before the exam date. The Admit Cards will be available on the official SSC website. Registered students will need their registration details to download the SSC CPO Admit Card.

SSC CPO 2025: Result

SSC will release the results after each stage separately. You can find them on the official website, https://ssc.gov.in/. The SSC CPO Result will be available in PDF format. This PDF will contain the names and roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the examination. SSC CPO 2025: Cut Off

• The SSC CPO Cut-Off 2025 will be released after each phase of the examination is complete, along with the SSC CPO Result.
