SSC MTS 2025 Recruitment

The Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) Examination is a national-level exam. It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The purpose of this exam is to recruit candidates for various non-technical positions. These positions are in different ministries, departments, and offices of the Government of India. SSC MTS 2025: Eligibility Criteria

There are three major criteria that a candidate must fulfil to be eligible for the SSC MTS 2025 Exam. Candidates should know the minimum required SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria before filling out the applications. These criteria include nationality, educational qualification, and age limit. 

 

1. Nationality/Citizenship

  1. Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

 

2. Age Limit (as on 1/8/2025)

The age limits for both SSC MTS and Havaldar posts, as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments, are:

 

  1. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): A candidate must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age.

 

  1. Havaldar Age Limit: A candidate must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must not exceed 27 years of age.

 

Candidates must meet the pre-mentioned age requirement. However, those belonging to reserved categories are entitled to age relaxation. This relaxation is provided according to government rules.

3. Educational Qualification 

A candidate must pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent exam. This should be from a recognised State Board, University, or Institute. To be eligible to apply for the SSC MTS 2025 Exam, this requirement must be met. There is no minimum percentage requirement in class 10th.

For the first time, the SSC MTS computer-based exam will be held in multiple languages. Candidates can choose from “English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.” They need to select their preferred language while filling out their application form.

SSC MTS 2025: Application Form

  • The SSC MTS Online Application process began on 26th June 2025.
  • The process is available at the official website: www.ssc.gov.in.
  • A notification PDF was released alongside the application process.
  • There are 1075 vacancies for the position of Havaldar.

SSC MTS Havaldar 2025: Application Fee

The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2025 is Rs. 100/-. The application fee can only be paid through online payment modes. These modes include Net Banking, Credit/Debit cards, and BHIM/UPI, among others.

 

Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee. Additionally, female candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.

SSC MTS Havaldar 2025 Selection Process

The eligible candidates for the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff recruitment will be shortlisted based on three stages. First, a candidate must qualify in each stage. Additionally, they need to score more than the cut-off marks that will be announced. The three stages that need to be cleared are as follows:

The level of the SSC MTS Exam so far is Easy to Moderate. Based on the previous year’s analysis, there are some important topics to focus on. SSC MTS 2025 Salary

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct a competitive examination for the recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff.  

 

  • Pay Band-1, which ranges from ₹5,200 to ₹20,200, with a Grade Pay of ₹1800.  
  • After the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission, the revised pay scale corresponds to Pay Level 1 in the Pay Matrix.  
  • The role is classified as a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial post.  
  • According to the 7th Pay Commission, the in-hand salary for SSC MTS ranges from ₹18,000 to ₹22,000 per month.

SSC MTS 2025 Admit Card 

The Staff Selection Commission first releases the SSC MTS Application Status. After that, the SSC MTS Admit Card is released for each stage. Candidates must download the SSC MTS 2025 Admit Card from the official website. No hard or soft copy will be sent to the candidates.

 

SSC MTS 2025 Answer Key 

The Staff Selection Commission will upload the SSC MTS Tier 1 Answer Key on the official website. This is expected to happen around a month after the exam is conducted. First, the SSC MTS Provisional Answer Key will be released, followed by the final answer key. It is important to note that no answer key will be released for the SSC MTS Tier-2 and the Skill test. Candidates will need to download the SSC MTS Answer Key using their registration number and password from the official website only.

 

SSC MTS 2025 Result

The Staff Selection Commission of India will release the SSC MTS 2025 Result. This will happen after the exam for the different levels has been conducted. The results will be available on their official website.

 

SSC MTS 2025 Cut-Off

The SSC MTS Cut-off is the minimum score that aspirants must achieve to move to the next stage of the exam. The cutoff will be released twice: first for Paper 1 (Tier 1) and second for Paper 2 (Tier 2). Cutoffs are released alongside the declaration of results.
