ssc mts cut off and pyq analysis

The SSC MTS cut-off plays a crucial role in determining the minimum qualifying marks required for selection in the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) exam. The cut-off varies each year based on factors such as the number of vacancies, the difficulty level of the exam, and candidate performance. The SSC MTS exam is conducted in multiple phases, primarily including a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Physical Tests (for Havaldar posts). The difficulty level of the exam generally ranges from easy to moderate, testing candidates on subjects like General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English/Hindi Language. Understanding the cut-off trends helps aspirants set a target score and strategize their preparation accordingly. The official website of the SSC is https://ssc.nic.in/.

SSC MTS Exam Cut-Off: Overview & Factors Affecting It

The SSC MTS cut-off is the minimum score required for candidates to qualify for the next stage of the selection process. The cut-off varies based on category, region, and the number of vacancies. It is released separately for different states and Union Territories.

Factors Affecting SSC MTS Exam Cut-Off

  1. Number of Vacancies – Higher vacancies may result in a lower cut-off and vice versa.
  2. Exam Difficulty Level – If the exam is tough, the cut-off tends to be lower.
  3. Number of Candidates Appearing – A higher number of applicants increases competition, leading to a higher cut-off.
  4. Category-wise Reservation – Candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) may have lower cut-offs compared to the General category.
  5. Previous Year Trends – The cut-off is influenced by past years’ cut-off scores and recruitment patterns.
